NEW DIRECTIONS IN THEORETICAL NEUROSCIENCE

March 6th, Friday - Koç University

Join us for an exploration of groundbreaking theoretical approaches that bridge mathematical modelling, computer science, artificial intelligence and cognitive science.

About

About the Event

What you will find
  • Frontier talks on theoretical neuroscience, learning and credit assignment, predictive processing, neural decoding, and brain oscillations

  • Computational perspectives that connect neuroscience with AI/ML and cognitive science

  • A clear focus on core questions of neural computation, grounded in concrete problems and methods

  • A chance to meet like-minded peers and build real connections across universities and labs

  • Networking with faculty and researchers you may collaborate with later, plus informal social time that opens doors

Cognitive Day Series

The Cognitive Day series is a conference series initiated by CogIST. In each Cognitive Day conference, we will focus on a different area and topic within cognitive science. The conferences will be held once or twice a year, each time at a different university. We are holding the first Cognitive Day at Koç University, with the generous support of and in collaboration with KU-SIGN. The theme of this conference is recent developments in theoretical neuroscience and where the field is headed in the near future.
